Step by step

(General cleaning)

1. Apply a small amount of Acetone to a shop towel.
2. Wipe the surface with the shop towel.

(Cleaning molds)

If multiple carbon fiber layups are performed on the same mold, the mold often needs to be cleaned to remove residue that might be left behind when the part is released from the mold.

1. Apply a small amount of PMC to a shop towel
2. Wipe the mold with the shop towel.
