End-of-Year Event

Wednesday, May 27th 

9:00 am - noon 

No longer coordinating with the liaisons because they have to meet a short deadline on another task. They offered to help out with one of our sessions, if needed. 

That leaves us with two sessions:

LibGuides as Instruction Tools (Jason)

  • Small-group discussion, conceptual work, rather than hands-on creating guides.
  • Location: B05
  • Length of time: 60 minutes, 10-11

Fix-a-thon (Lynn, or TBD)

  • Fixing accessibility issues and clearing out unmapped assets, as appropriate
  • Maybe we can create a menu of fixes. For example:
    • Alt text for images?
    • Using headings rather than bold.
    • Lists should appear as lists (bulleted or numbered) not lines separated by spaces.
  • Location: B05
  • Length of time: 60+ minutes 11-noon


Gabby will create a virtual flyer. We will publicize through Teams and lib-invites.


No meeting in May unless we feel we need to check in in advance of the event.


Julia is rotating off the committee in June.
