Application Owner: The unit that licenses or develops a software application.

Application Owner Contact: Responsible for the applications overall compliance.

Application Admin: Assigns application users roles and permissions, provides audit information, and access notifications.

SSIT Service Manager: Manages the implementation and lifecycle of applications, acting as a liaison between units and IT teams.

User: Individuals with elevated access who can make configuration or data modifications, run reports, or extract data. General users (e.g., students with basic login access) are not considered users for this purpose. Users with elevated permissions must be deprovisioned when access is no longer warranted (e.g., due to employment changes). This serves as a liability mitigation step to ensure prompt removal of inappropriate access.
