The Advanced Search is launched from a button (aka "pill") underneath the Search button, to the right of "Reset all."

Like the basic search, the advanced search is applied to only one record type, that is, Instance, Holdings, or Item.


Advanced search offers the following options:

Contains all

Exact phrase

Starts with 

Contains any

Up to six parameters can be combined using Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT)



The results of an advanced search can be filtered in the same way as other search results.
