Kerberos for Windows Extra Stuff

  • We supply some extra stuff for MIT's Kerberos for Windows
  • A DLL named kclien32.dll, which does a few Kerberos things, like get tickets
  • A CIT designed login dialog box (lives in kclien32.dll)
  • A Java Native Interface DLL which accesses kclien32.dll (used by legacy Java fat clients)
  • A modified MIT gssapi.dll which pops CIT's login dialog
  • Still used, but fading because ...
    • The remaining Java fat clients are going away
    • SideCar is going away
    • More folks are switching to e-mail clients other than Eudora and Thunderbird
