Spring 2014 Contributions

Rachel joined AguaClara in Spring 2014 after taking, and thoroughly enjoying, CEE 4540: Sustainable Municipal Drinking Water Treatment. For her final project for CEE 4540, Rachel helped design a distribution system for a potential AguaClara plant site in India. In the spring of 2014, Rachel continued this work with the Village Source to Environment team. Through this team, she helped enhance the previous design to create an equitable, cost-effective, highly detailed potable water distribution system for rural Indian villages that accounts for weather variability, among other key factors.
