Slotting Machine

Slotting machines are manufactured by JK Tool Company. The produce slotting machines that cut multiple slots at a time and that have indexers for cutting slots on long pipes.

The slotting saw blades are Jewelers slotting saws that can be obtained from Thurston Manufacturing in Smithfield, RI. The slotting saws come in a range of diameters and slot dimensions. We are currently interested in 0.2 mm (0.008 inch) slots to be compatible with the filter sand.
