AutoCAD Goals and Accomplishments

At the beginning of each academic term, the AutoCAD team discusses previous work and future goals. Below, links are given to show how the team has progressed from semester to semester.

What we will accomplish:

  • Incorporate units into programs
  • Update previous semesters scripts including documentation
  • Resolve resolution problem
  • Create lamella/baffle scripts
  • Add details such as wall connectors, storage shed, sedimentation tank frames etc.
  • Continue looking into eliminating the need for text scripts

Fall 2007 Accomplishments

The AutoCAD team created MathCAD files with the ability to draw most major components of the plant. These include:

  • Pipes and Pipe Connectors
  • Grit Chamber with outlet pipes
  • Flocculation Tank
  • Channel leading from Flocculation Tank to Sedimentation Tank
  • Sedimentation Tank with inlet and outlet pipes
  • Plant Level Tank with inlet and outlet pipes
  • Plant Platform
  • Chemical Platform and Chemical Tanks
