Salmonella Uganda

Background: Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Uganda (antigenic formula: 3,{10},{15}:1,z₁₃:1,5) is a Group O:3,10 (E1) serovar.

Genetic characteristics:

Animal reservoir: Serovar Uganda has been isolated from cattle, pigs, camels, and chickens.

Geographical distribution: Serovar Uganda is widely distributed, reports of this serovar include countries in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
