Library Human Resources takes a leadership role in providing programs and services in accordance with Cornell University's core values and human resource principles. We strive to create and maintain a diverse and inclusive work environment for all staff to achieve success in fulfilling Cornell University Library's mission.    

Library Human Resources staff are working a hybrid schedule. Inquiries may be sent to LibHR@cornell.edu. Cornell students hired to work in the Library or the Cornell University Press may email LibHR@cornell.edu to schedule an appointment to complete their I-9. 

ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

Beginning February 12, 2025, began piloting a different format for our virtual office hours. Office hours will continue to be offered from 12:30-1:30pm on the second Wednesday of each month. We have added a repeat session on a different day and time each month. The format is: 

• • 30 minutes for a themed information session - typically 30 minutes in a group setting - topics change each month
  • 30 minutes to bring any HR-themed question to Library HR - typically 30 minutes in a 1:1 setting - breakout rooms will be utilized

Themed topics:

• February 12 & 17 topic: Workday Learning - demo divided into three segments: 1) content relevant for all employees; 2) content for supervisors, included assigning training; 3) Q&A
• March 12 & 25 topic: Self-Care & Connection
• April 9 topic: TBA
