Occasionally, we will have scheduled downtime for things like hot fix applications and upgrades. Whenever possible, we will schedule downtime for times when libraries are closed. If we experience an unscheduled outage or we are unable to schedule downtime during off hours, the Offline Circ application can be used to continue basic circulation functions.
Systems and Applications That Will Not Work During Downtime
- FOLIO
- My Account
- Item requests
- Public catalog indexing will not continue to reflect new changes, though there should be none.
Systems and Applications Unaffected by Downtime
- Public catalog searching will continue to work, including the display of item status
- BorrowDirect and ILL
- Scan Requests
