Summer 2013 Contributions
I am a member of the Low Flow Stacked Rapid Sand Filter research team. We will design a self-initiating backwash method, a sand fluidization tester, and a sand bed height tester. Additionally, we plan to modify the currently implemented sand drain design, and test the clogging of the pipes at high coagulant doses/low turbidities.
