"Spring 2012" Contributions

This semester I am a member of the ram pump team. Our goal is to design and build a ram pump test station to elevate water from lower to higher elevation. The key to this challenge will be optimizing the ram pump to elevate the maximum flow of water given a set elevation difference and inlet flow. From this small scale design, we hope to scale towards a larger ram pump that may elevate water for plant lavatories or even small communities above the plant.
