Frank L. Huband

World Technology Evaluation Center

Frank L. Huband is vice president for operations and general counsel for the World Technology Evaluation Center. He recently retired as the chief executive officer of the American Society for Engineering Education, a 13,000-member professional society for engineering educators and institutions of engineering and engineering technology. Formerly, Huband was the director of the U.S. National Science Foundation's Electrical and Communication Systems Division. He joined NSF in 1976 and has held various positions there, including that of head of the Technology and Resources Policy Section, director of the Emerging Engineering Technologies Division, and director of the Electrical and Communication Systems Division. He has served on the faculty of the Electrical Engineering and Mathematical Sciences departments at Rice University.
