Member Bio - Frank L. Huband

Frank L. Huband is the chief executive officer of the American Society for Engineering Education, a 13,000-member professional society for engineering educators and institutions of engineering and engineering technology. He also serves as the Secretary General of the International Association for Continuing Engineering Education and the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies. Formerly, Huband was the director of the U.S. National Science Foundation's Electrical and Communication Systems Division. He joined NSF in 1976 and has held various positions at there, including that of head of the Technology and Resources Policy Section, director of the Emerging Engineering Technologies Division, and director of the Electrical and Communication Systems Division. He has served on the faculty of Electrical Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at Rice University.
