Michael Brancato's Individual Contribution Page

Summer 2009 Contributions

I am working with the Plate Settler Spacing research team. I helped set up and monitor experiments designed to test tube-settler robustness by varying alum dosage, and then I collected and analyzed the data. Following the alum dose experiments I worked on comparing different methods of modeling the floc rollup problem by trying to determine a particle diameter and critical velocity that minimizes discrepancy between the methods.
