Summer '09 Contributions

This summer I am working on the Design team. For the first part of the summer I have been working with Chris Defeo to develop code to design and draw the floc hopper. We decided to write the code for the floc hopper a bit differently than previous and have based it around other dimensions of the sed tank, rather than around flow rates that it needs to handle. We are also working on writing code to draw the floc hopper in the sed tank, which is a trapezoid shaped piece of concrete that rests in the bottom of the sed tank and the sed tank slopes.

 We have finished the code to design the dimensions of the floc hopper and are now working on a couple drafts of the code to draw it properly.
