Fundraising
Fundraising serves as the sustenance for the AguaClara Team. Through our work, we develop relationships with potential donors as well as seek out and evaluate grants for all aspects of the organization. In essence, Fundraising is responsible for the financial security of AguaCara's interests both domestically and abroad. AguaClara is funded in large part by private donors, and the fundraising team works specifically to increase the base of potential supporters.
Our team group works closely with the Public Relations group of outreach when it comes to seeking potential donors. The Outreach Contact List showcases serves as a database of the organizations we have contacted as the Outreach Team are interested in contacting or maintaining contact with in the future. The relationship between P.R. and Fundraising is essential due to the fact that many donors come from potential PR contacts and vise versa.
Please decide whether to use PR or P.R. and make sure that is consistent throughout. Also try to keep an eye on what is referred to as a group (PR or Fundraising) or a team (Outreach)
We have also formed a grant writing team charged with filling out The fundraising group pursues funding by investigating and authoring grant applications throughout the semester. This team also develops Grant Writing Guidelines in order to facilitate the efforts of future Fundraising members. The mist current efforts of the grant writing team grants of most interest to the Fundraising group currently are listed on the Grant Short List, which is updated frequently as grants come are found and or are submitted. If you seek further information on our grant seeking and writing efforts For more general information please visit our main Grants page.
