Accomplishments
  • Created a plan for the rest of the semester
Metrics
  • Met with Monroe and wrote out a physical plan
Outcomes
  • Each member of the team will have a more concrete and organized plan from here on out.
  • There will be support for each person to make sure they always know how to get their tasks done as well as they possibly can
Issues
  • We still need a weekly meeting time for each working group
  • I have to learn more about who is currently doing what (so please make these minutes detailed for me!!! (smile) )

Working Group: Fundraising

Accomplishments
  • Wrote a really rough outline of Newsletter.
Metrics
  • Don't have enough information as of Spring break.
  • Can't really figure out what the research team members accomplished as a whole.
Outcomes
  • Need information on new plants, need summaries from sub teams.
  • Need dates and information on the inauguration of the new plant (checked on the wiki but it wasn't there when I did)
  • Nicole, can you ask each sub team for a single summary of what they accomplished? I can't really tell by going through each member's midterm report.
Issues
  • Still waiting for the TechAward document.
  • Need to fix NGOs and Newsletters link on the wiki.
  • What information should be included in the Newsletter?
  • Nicole, you wanted to set a date for it. When?

Working Group: PR

Accomplishments
  • Met with Sheridan from Partners for Honduran Health to discuss comparisons between our organizations.

  • I am going to arrange for them to present to our class in the coming weeks as well as discuss similar goals between the organizations.
Issues
  • We need to plan for the Museum of the Earth presentation coming up in April. We also need to work out more efficient means of conducting our presentations for classes and other student organizations.
