The first thing I always try is to go to the tool bar while on the main page and choose Clear and  and Update Cache (under Actions). It often helps. So I did it, and David Wise has emerged. I also edited the format a bit so that a short bit of text appears and then a neater link to full story. It seems to work as a better format(the up-to-then absent rotating image news item) has emerged.
