- Validation of CFD models in terms of energy dissipation map: compare different turbulence models and with experimental data, and generate a reliable energy dissipation map
- Further work with 3D rke
- Solve the puzzle of different prediction from 2D and periodic 3D models
- Finer mesh
- Run simulation on SGI servers
- Check grid convergence of 3D models and the result sensitivity to other parameters
- Run simulations with Reynolds Stress Model
- Start from 2D simulation, with default parameter settings
- Compare model performance(time,convergence, etc.) with other models
- Case and literature research
- Find literature on similar simulation cases
- Find literature on experimental data of similar flows
- Compare with and analyze similar simulation cases and experimental data of similar flows
- Further work with 3D rke
- Data analysis, interpretation, geometry variation and design recommendation
- Dimensional analysis and statistical analysis of the performance parameters with UDFs
- Automate mesh generation procedure for vary the geometry
- Investigate various dimensions and detailed designs to give recommendations
