Accounts Needed
Slack: This is a messaging app consisting of workspaces (FOLIO) and channels (bug-fest, folio-documentation, and many others). You can access Slack on the Web or install the app. Bug-fest is very helpful but a "private" channel. Join the FOLIO workspace by clicking https://slack-invitation.folio.org/. Debra Howell can add you to the bug-fest channel.
TestRail: Bug Fest test cases are here. Debra Howell can get you an account. Once the process is initiated, you'll get an email from TestRail (testrail.io) with a link to set your password. Log in to the FOLIO TestRail instance here: https://foliotest.testrail.io.
JIRA
I started at the FOLIO welcome page (https://wiki.folio.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=25723747) and then found this link: https://slack-invitation.folio.org/. Once you’re in Slack, I think you have to ask Debra to add you to the bug-fest channel.
As you move around the wiki you may be prompted to log in. You’ll need a FOLIO JIRA account to do that. Set one up here:https://issues.folio.org/secure/Dashboard.jspa .
Creating a New Account in the Bug Fest FOLIO Test Instance
minute 44-48 of Anya's Zoom - link to it
Patron Group - choose any
User Name - no red asterisk but essential
use a real email address - a fake one could cause the FOLIO project to be considered spam, but you'll need a valid email address (or phone number) in order to set your user's password
permissions determine what apps you'll see at the top of the screen when you log in as your new user
