Genetic characteristics:
Animal reservoir: Unclear, but based on the NCBI PD metadata, serovar Inverness was isolated from dog, raccoon, horse, and frog (Scaphiopus holbrookii).
Geographical distribution: Serovar Inverness has been only reported in the US, and the UK.
