The Call number generator, which appears in the Holdings record, is configured in the Service interaction section of Settings.
Number generator sequences have been created based on the options previously available in CLAMSS (Cornell Librar Automated Media Shelflisting System).
Each sequence has a name, that indicates the type of material and the location, and a corresponding code. The name can be changed, but the code cannot.
Next values have been configured in 2026 based on numbers already assigned through CLAMSS. Any desired text that should appear in the call number (but not the call number prefix or suffix) has been added to the Output template.
Here is an example of the sequence configuration (with fabricated number).
