Create Your First Wiki Page!

Throughout the semester you will become very familiar with the AguaClara Wiki and this is your first excercise in creating a wiki page! The instructions given below will give you a step by step example of one of the ways to create a new page on the wiki. You will be creating a wiki page that will list any additional pages you create for the AguaClara Wiki. This will help give us a sense of the dosumentation work you have done throughout the semester.

Instructions

1. Log in to the AguaClara wiki
   • Click the "View" tab at the top of the screen and scroll down to and click on "Log In"
   • Sign in with your netID and Cornell password
2. Go to the AguaClara Member List
3. Find your name on the list of Students
4. Check that your information listed is correct
5. Look in the column that shows each student's netID
6. Click on the link for your netID
   • If you are a returning AguaClara member, your netID will only be underlined and will already link the the page created about you. It should list any pages you have created on the AguaClara wiki. If it does not list those pages, follow the steps below to fix your page.
   • If you are a new AguaClara member, your netID will be underlined and have a green plus sign next to it as shown below. Continue with the following steps to create your wiki page.
7. A new page should open up in an editing mode. Click to the blue "Wiki Markup" tab if you are not already in it.
8. Paste the following line into the text box

   {content-by-user:ajd47}

9. You have just created you first AguaClara Wiki page!
