h1. Demo Plant Future Goals

There are many [design|Demo Plant design & construction] and [research|demo plant research] aspects of the demo plant that remain to be explored or improved upon.  Some suggestions that the Spring 2008 team has for future teams are below.
* A sedimentation tank design that allows for even upflow and settling between all lamellas, to ensure enough settling time.
* Further investigation into the significance of frictional losses in the vertical portions of flocculator channels
* Compare performance of different existing sedimentation tanks, and effect on effluent turbidity
* Explore the possibility of a demo plant design that includes a sludge blanket.
