Input Definitions

• origin is a 3,1 matrix with the x,y,z values of the lower left inner corner of the sedimentation tank.
• p2 is a 3,1 matrix with the x,y,z values of a point on the midline of the sedimentation tank.
• tank _length is the length of the sedimentation tank.
• slope _width is the width of the slope wedge.
• slope _height is the height of the slope wedge.

Notes

• All coordinates correspond to a top view.

Slopes are added to the sedimentation tanks in the form of wedges. By changing the input values of slope _width and slope _height the user can change the angle of the sedimentation slope.

Technical Program Outline

zoom1 - zooms the workspace to a smaller focus area.

pline1 - creates a one-dimensional triangle.

extrude1 - extrudes the triangle creating a three-dimensional wedge.

rotate3d1 - rotates the wedge 90 degrees around the x axis.

rotate3d2 - rotates the wedge 270 degrees around the z axis. The wedge is now aligned with the lower right hand corner of the sedimentation tank.

mirror3d1 - creates a mirror image of the wedge.
