This is written specifically for Access Services student supervisors but can apply to anyone who has permission to assign permissions and sets.  Please assign established permission sets only; do not add individual permissions. 

• In FOLIO, open the Users app (https://cornell.folio.ebsco.com/users?sort=name).
• Search for and select your student.
• In the right pane you should see your student's account.  Under Actions, choose Edit.
• Scroll down to "User permissions" and expand it.
• Click on the "Add permission" button.

• Click on "Permission sets" to see what's available.  (The Search button isn't working now due to a bug.)

• In the results, put a check mark next to the set you want.  (Only choose one.  You can see the different permission sets here: Access Services.)

• Make sure to hit "Save & close." Back at the user's account screen, you'll see the permission set added under User permissions. 
• Make sure to hit "Save & close" again.
