The Chemistry Department decommissioned the old, programmable locks to the Protein Lab May 2018. Retained specialized hardware until locks actually leave the premises, "just in case".

Summary

No anticipation of needing the specialized hardware to reprogram the former Protein Lab's locks. However, until the locks are removed, one never knows what will be requested.

5/30/2018: Recovered Excel file from Windows XP laptop. File contained the most recent list of permitted users of the lock, enabling their Cornell ID cards to open the door. Those people needed to be contacted.
