Using Cornell's Cisco AnyConnect Virtual Private Network (VPN) software. Useful to connect, from RedRover, to group servers and NMR's server. Bonus: Also enables you to print to your group's printers from off campus!

Install

Install the Cornell VPN (Virtual Private Network) software. This will let you access the group server from Red Rover, as well as from off campus.

Install Cornell VPN - Go to cuvpn.cuvpn.cornell.edu and follow the instructions provided. Additional instructions can be found at http://www.it.cornell.edu/services/vpn/.

Use

To access group server – you must open and connect to the VPN service. You can stay logged in for up to 8 hours before reentering your password is required.
