Faculty: How to provision a Sponsored NetID for an individual

Please send an email to <ChemIT> containing the information Cornell requires:

The name of the person being sponsored and their NetID.
A simple (1 or 2 lines) statement explaining the need.
Duration, not to exceed a year.

Sample request:

Please extend Sponsored NetID services for Donald Duck <dd666> for another year. He is one of my collaborators and requires access to our computer cluster.

Historical note: As of Summer 2016, no need to email the Department Chair with the above information. Just <ChemIT>.
