• $30K grant is for 5 years.
• Sol recently saturated, so extra compute nodes welcome.
• He does expect a ramping up of needs by Martin come November as he will need to run large calculations.

Roald expects:

• No change to the number of users (3-4 users over at least the next 2 yrs)
• No change to the types of applications run (VASP, Gaussian, etc.)
• No change in storage needs is expected.
• He is not considering adding GPUs instead.

Action taken

• Michael Hint has asked RedBarn for quotes, etc.
