Version 11, not 12, for ChemIT's use.

To install FileMaker Pro:

  1. Under "Computer," click "Map network drive" at the top bar
  2. For folder, type "\\chemit.chem.cornell.edu\chemit-files"
  3. Select Windows>Applications>FileMaker>FileMaker11>FMPro11
    1. Enter log in credentials. You may need to be added to the ChemIT permissions group first.
  4. Complete installation with on screen prompts
    1. The license key is provided in a text document in the FileMaker11 folder
  5. Update FM11 using the updater in the same folder as the installer. Use the latest version.
  6. Mount "\\files.cornell.edu\AS\CHM\DEPT\Dept"
  7.  In chemit, inventory, copy over "Inventory auto" file to your desktop.
  8. Open and enjoy.
