There seem to be some issues with Liisa being able to add/edit pages on our wiki. Jim LeBlanc is looking in to this.
Serials solutions update: We heard back from Kate Howe regarding a pilot of their Consortial Resource Manager set-up. Their current proposal is:
- Cornell to subscribe to Resource Manager at:
- Counter (Usage): 10,450/year plus onetime set up 688
- Resource Manager (ERM): 11,693/year plus one time set up $1969 (includes data population services) and a onetime consultation fee of $3990
- “upcharge” for the consortial version. Standard pricing is about 20k for you all but since this is a pilot (and you all are good PQ customers), we can cut that to 8K for the year of the pilot and see how it goes. There is also an implementation fee of $2,000 and a consulting fee of $3995. We can create a statement of work to be sure we are aware of what the implementation looks like. This will allow you to take time to work on the project without limitations and see how it works for you.
Run this up the flagpole to TSI Steering - justification needed to:
- Run parallel ERMs at Cornell, or go fully with Serials Solutions

Not sure how you do your their database list but we don’t offer one…except that there is a basic listing in the EJP (the link above) by default. You can also use the database report (currently available to them) as a tool.
- Ideal implementation well before any Alma testing begins so staff are not dealing with multiple new products
- KB Group - compare stats from Alma, SFX, Serials Solutions - how many titles, packages, etc...
