Duration is a maximum of one year at a time, with the option to renew annually.

By default, NetID extension provides departing staff with the following Cornell privileges:

• Continuation of Cornell email, full storage or simple forwarding and "sending as".
• Access to VPN so staff can continue to access authorized CCB research servers.
• Access to Cornell Library on-line resources.
