What is this bill, and who provides oversight?

ChemIT bills each faculty member each month for a portion of their services.

The bill is based on an algorithm which the Chemistry Computing Committee is reviewing. We appreciate your patience while we continue to utilize the existing charging algorithm.

What is the billing process?

Until there are significant changes (either within units or with the algorithm), we will continue repeating each month's billing (with few or no changes), thus avoiding the extra work of requiring each group to update their data monthly. When there are significant changes, we will then "true" up on that month.

What if something changes in my bill- how will I know?

For most months there are few or no changes in each bill. If there are changes, ChemIT will contact the appropriate faculty member to advise them of the change.

I want a copy of my bill. How do I get it?

Even though the bills won't change their amounts without notification, please do let ChemIT know if you'd still like a copy of your bill. Thank you!

Three faculty requested copies of their September bill, so I will send them copies of these bills (with identical charges), until they let ChemIT to stop doing so. :-)
