Question:  Where is my favorite AACR2 rule in RDA?

Examples:

• I catalog in a special language area and I need to check if RDA has changed the rules for my language.
• I catalog special materials like legal, musical or cartographic works, and I have to know what's changed from AACR2.  Do I still enter maps issued by a map-making body under the corporate body name?
• I always have to look up the AACR2/LCRI rules for multiple pseudonym situations.

Answer:  This one's on you!  In preparation for tomorrow's introduction to the RDA Toolkit, think about what rule you rely on most in AACR2, or the rule you'd miss the most if RDA takes it away from you.  Feel free to noodle around in the Toolkit and see if you can locate the RDA equivalent of your AACR2 rule.  Keep your question in mind during the Toolkit training.  If you can't find your rule after Toolkit training, call an RDA Training Committee member over to your desk and we'll find it together.
