During the Fall 2010 semester, I have worked with the Outreach Team. More specifically, I work on maintaining the AguaClara Website, and helping to organize the benefit concert. I have contacted several students who are very involved in AguaClara about being featured as a "Student Spotlight," and have already included them on the website. I have updated the website to feature two AguaClara members as opposed to one. On the "Get Involved" page, I have added the information about each AguaClara class. I am in the process of adding several new sponsors to the "Our Partners" page. I have written a short blurb about each sponsor and the generous donation each company has made to AguaClara. I also put together AguaClara's application for the Ithaca Alternative Gift Fair, which will take place on December 4. The date and location of AguaClara's benefit are still being determined, but once they are finalized, I will be working closely with Karah to organize and publicize the event.

I researched several new sponsors and wrote blurbs about their generous donations to AguaClara. They have been added to the "Our Partners" page on the website.
I also put together AguaClara's application for the Ithaca Alternative Gift Fair, which will take place on December 4. I designed several templates for gift cards that will be given to those who choose to donate to AguaClara at the gift fair.
My main contribution this semester was working on the Rock for Honduras benefit concert as second in command under Karah. The concert took place at the Nines in Collegetown on November 4. My task was to address any questions from performers and event staff prior to and during the concert. I met with Karah and one of the band managers to work out the performance schedule and other details. I worked with the manager of Nines to help set up the stage area. Tim and I introduced the performers, and the entire outreach team promoted and ran the raffle. The total revenue came to about $420.
I spent the last portion of the semester working with Brittany to put together an AguaClara newsletter to send to alumni. We are using the template from the December 2008 newsletter. I contacted all of the team leads and put together an article about updates from research and design teams. We will also be including articles about this semester's benefit concert, the conversion of the website into Spanish, a list of future plant sites and corresponding funding, and the push for AguaClara to become and NGO.
