Simulation Models were created to compare the flow for two geometries:

• Single baffle with sharp corners
• Single baffle with round corners

Simulation Models were created to compare the flow for two geometries:

Mesh Refinement

A standard outlet pressure was set for all Straight Edge for validation. Also a Mesh Sensitivity analysis was performed. Results are plotted for a straight horizontal line at the middle of each baffle. These results are for Velocity Magnitude and Pressure Coefficient. Furthermore a contour of the strain rate was created to show shear velocity gradients around the 180 degree bend.
