Models for a Single Baffle

Simulation Models were created to compare the flow results for two geometries:

• Single baffle with sharp corners
• Single baffle with round corners

In the gallery below are the results for Static Pressure and Velocity Vectors for these geometries. As expected the pressure drop is larger for the case of straight corners.

These results are only preliminary. To validate them we plan to take the following steps:

1. Set a standard outlet pressure for all geometries
2. Perform a mesh sensitvity analysis
3. Compare Simulation results to experimental data
