Maps still have to be cleared for copyright. Liz will use the metadata extracted from Voyager to create a table with BibID, title, creator, publisher, and date. Boris will pass this on to a student who will find out which are in the public domain. Should be completed in a week-10 days.

Boris

• Earlier problem with filenames has been fixed. Boris is doing a final review before sending to Danielle
• Will work on collection name, description, and rights for Luna (will look at new Luna version and the 18 collections currently on test server)
• Will contact Mira about updated rights sheet

Liz

• Met with LTS and will be going with MARCXML format 
• Will look into displaying call numbers instead of Bib IDs for patrons in Luna
• Will also look into including a language field for non-English maps, but not a priority

July 16, 2009

Boris

• Now 2/3 of the way through linking bib records to filenames. Will take 2 weeks more at most
• A number of files are in jpg format
• Boris will notify Danielle when complete so DLIT can review images for quality

Liz

• Once image review complete, Liz will be sent the bibid-filename spreadsheet
• LTS will extract MARC records and will work with Rick to determine ideal format (MARCXML, CSV, etc)
• Mira or Rick will send Liz sample KVRF files

Rick

• Current schedule means he won't have time to work on project until end of August

• Images scanned by external vendor are in TIFF format; ours are in JPG
