Challenges

• Confirm the cause of floating flocs by running experiments with the Plate Settler Team's apparatus. Two experiments have been planned to test whether bubbles form in the water and adhere to flocs or bubbles form directly on flocs. It is also possible that these mechanisms in combination are responsible for floating flocs.
