Accomplishments

• Ran the experiment without the sand in the sand column to look at the gas removal rate and compare it with the results from the experiments using Sand 30 and Sand 40.
• Repeated DO measurements. Sampling points included:

1. source water
2. effluent from the aerator
3. effluent from the sand filter
4. effluent from the bubble collector
