Working Group: 1

Accomplishments

• Caulked holes from previous baffle layouts for 32 baffles to allow for reuse on secondary baffle system setup
• Drilled holes and cut baffles according to Adjustable Baffle System design

Outcomes

• Completed baffles for secondary baffle system which when system is complete will allow for one system to be adjusted while another system is in the tank being tested

Working Group: 2

Accomplishments

• Calculated range of energy dissipation rates for various non-tapered baffle spacings (b)

Outcomes

• Have range of values of spacings to be tested with adjustable baffle system to find an optimal energy dissipation rate. With both sets of baffles done and a range of dissipation rates to test we can turn on the plant and begin taking turbidity profiles.

Accomplishments

*Begun addressing issues of organization from midterm wiki feedback
*Begun overall reorganization/recombination of redundant pages

Outcomes

*Pilot Plant wiki space is gradually becoming more organized
