Accomplishments

• The process controller method, automating most of our experiments, is complete and runnning well.
• We began running experiments on the 9.5 mm tubes on the system.
• We ordered the webcam to monitor the sytem. The webcam is in, we are just waiting to install it.

Metrics

• We have collected the effluent turbidity of the 9.5 mm tubes at varies flow rates and two floc blanket settings.
• There effluent turbidity was higher than expected, more data analysis is needed.

Outcomes

• We noticed very high turbidities with the high velocities and the smaller tubes in the floc blanket.
• Based on the data we may determine that the highest Velocities/Vcs are giving us extremely poor results and we should test at lower Vc's.

Issues

• We need analyze the data and determine how the experiment should be changed. Hopefully we can run the tests a shorter time intervals. (this should be completed by monday)
• This week we will also be ordering larger size tubes.
• We are currently working on the Wiki Mid-term report and our teach-in coming up this wednesday.
• The webcam has to be installed and calibrated to record images of our system.
• We make spend next week examining the growth rate, and possible deformation of our floc blanket.

Any Overall Team Comments: The system is begining to work well and we are working on our midterm report and teach-in.
