Accomplishments

• Began automating the system using the increment method in Process controller
• Recoded the process controller program for floc blanket and effluent flow rate variation
• Ran the system to test floc blanket formation
• Added an elbow
• Sucessfully floc blanket height using process controller

Metrics

• None this week

Outcomes

• We are continuing to debug our process controller method to automate the varying of flow rates
• In the process of ordering a web cam to monitor floc blanket height. This will help us deterimine the time it takes to form a floc blanket.

Issues

• When increment function restarts instead of starting at the minimum flowrate it starts at the maximum flowrate.
• We need to do some test runs of the system to determine the necessary duration of each process controller state.

Any Overall Team Comments: Most of the week was spent working with process controller. Next week we look forward to collecting data.
