Accomplishments

  • Wrote UDF script for extracting information from each individual cell
  • Calculated the total Gtheta value of the model
  • Modeled and compare different turbulence model with experimental data

Metrics

Outcomes

  • Realized K-e realizable and K-w SST turbulence model is good for modeling the flow
  • Obtained Pi value from Gtheta value

Issues

  • Gtheta values did not correspond with what was expected
  • Having difficulties to know how to get Gtheta
  • Need to validate correct ways of getting Gtheta
