Introduction and Theory

Provide that focuses on what it is your team is studying and the theory behind how it works. Provide a rationale for its basis in AguaClara. This should be maximum of 2 paragraphs in length.

List of Parameters

Create a list of the relevant parameters that affect the component you are studying. For example, if you were conducting an experiment investigating tube settler performance then some relevant parameters could include: tube settler length, capture velocity.

Try to understand how the parameters affect one another, i.e. if a parameter is dependent or independent of another parameter.

Experimental Design

Before writing experimental design, review past experiments by previous AguaClara teams. Then based upon these past experiments generate a list of experiments that your team would like to conduct.

Choose the first experiment your team plans on conducting from the list and write a more detailed paragraph explaining what parameters you are varying and how the experiment will be conducted.

Write another paragraph about the anticipated results that you predict will occur from your experiment. This will be important later when your team analyzes experimental data in case there
