Friday 2.13 eight plaques were complete that we tested inside the sedimentation tanks to finalize the dimensions of the floc weir. We decided to extend the pipe for draining the sedimentation tank to begin at the same point where the floc weir hits the bottom of the sedimentation tank. We will then condition the pipe (with heat) to fit underneath the supports for the plaques. Since the plaque supports form a rectangular shape with the bottom of the tanks, we will need to condition the circular pipe to fit inside.

Next week they will be working on making the 'drain channel' - where the flocculation and sedimentation tanks drain into. You can see below all the pipes that drain into the tank. The sedimentation tank has three pipes: to clean off the surface of the sed tanks, to drain the floc blanket, and to drain the entire tank.
