Requirements for submission of materials to DLIT

General:  Make sure the digital image is not already available via the CUL catalog or on the web (from another institution, etc.).

Copyright:  Make sure all images have appropriate copyright clearance.

Images:  Must be in .tif format and not bigger than 175 MB.

Filenames: Do not use spaces, periods, or special characters in filenames.  It may be helpful to devise a naming scheme which is consistent.

Metadata: As you scan images, document the EXACT filename and original map Bib ID in a spreadsheet.
